I am excited you joined me here so I can share something SIMPLE with you. It might even seem too simple after all the things you have tried to lose weight. Because I have to tell you, there is so much misinformation out there and so many options, BUT clearly they are not working for you, or else you would not be here. Yes, I see you. You’ve gotten into a pattern of overcomplicating things, feeling unsure, and doubting yourself for so long that it’s gonna feel weird to just… let go and trust the process.
You are in the right place if you want to get REALLY serious about changing your lifestyle and learning what truly works for you. The real question is are you ready to actually HAVE the life you want and the health to go with it?
Let’s start by taking stock of where you are right now – answer either yes or no to the following questions:
Do you feel like you have tried everything to lose weight but to no avail?
Have you struggled so long with your weight that you have given up even trying?
Do you sometimes feel like a stranger in your own body?
Are you hiding from the world because you’re embarrassed by how you look and feel?

The good news is none of the problems I just shared with you are the REAL issue and therefore, you don’t need to fix each one individually. The BETTER news is that I’m going to help you go deeper to where all these seemingly separate problems originate so you can fix the root cause. Are you ready?
Why Listen To Me?
So, let me introduce myself - I am Jeanna Finch and am a Board-Certified Functional Health Coach. Before stepping into the world of health coaching, I had a successful career in hospitality, events and business development. But I always felt a calling to something bigger - a need to really affect change in the world. My own health struggles – that spanned all of my 20s and a good chunk of my 30s – and the journey I took to reclaim my own health, were a huge catalyst for me to move into the world of health and wellness. I, along with my husband Dr. Steven Finch, who is a brilliant Integrative Functional Nutritionist, Board-certified Clinical Nutrition Specialist and obesity researcher, have helped people all over the country reclaim their health for 18 years.
What I’m about to share with you is what we’ve distilled over all these years of working with people just like you to help them lose weight, reverse health issues, and walk away with a powerful toolbox of knowledge and skills they can draw upon for a long-lasting healthy life. A life where they show up as their best selves! We don’t just teach textbook methods that claim to yield results. Our approach is the very lifestyle we also lead. It transformed my own health and continues to be a lifestyle that allows our family to thrive.
3 Key Areas
There are 3 key areas that are absolutely essential to creating lifelong health and losing weight. Without these 3 key areas in place, no amount of weight loss techniques will get you lasting results.
1. PRIORITIZE YOURSELF:
If you feel like you have tried everything, and absolutely nothing has worked, I can all but guarantee that your priorities are out of whack. If you want lasting results, your health and wellness needs to become your number 1 priority, which means putting yourself first! Now I know most of you are probably thinking, “That would be super nice, Jeanna, but I have a family, a job, and a gazillion responsibilities – how am I supposed to make myself the priority?” I get it. In fact, this was me. It pretty much felt impossible to prioritize myself until I realized this one painful but important truth:
If I couldn’t figure out how to finally prioritize myself, then I wasn’t going to be able to commit to changing my life and finally getting healthy. I knew I had to figure it out! I’m guessing you’re feeling something similar.
It is wonderful that you take such good care of those around you, but tending to everyone else first, even when it means you have nothing left to give yourself, is wearing you out, am I right? And when you’re worn out it’s practically impossible to prioritize yourself and lose the weight once and for all. We have heard this story from client after client!
So, your takeaway here is that not only are you probably not fully prioritizing YOUR needs, but once you learn to do it without harming those you care about, the gates to lasting health open wide. It is not easy to do and it takes guidance and mindset work, which we dig into deeply in our program. But it IS possible. Trust me, you CAN make the time and you CAN commit to caring for yourself on all levels. You just need the right person to show you the way.
2. DON’T JUST GAIN KNOWLEDGE, GAIN UNDERSTANDING:
Most clients come to us full of information they have picked up over the years of trial and error regarding weight loss and what a healthy lifestyle is. I can’t tell you how many times I have heard someone say, “But this is the opposite of what I have been told!” If nothing else has helped you achieve your goals, you need to open your mind to all that you don’t know. There are multiple ways to go about losing weight, BUT if your weight was the only issue, then you wouldn’t still be reading right now. You are looking for something that works for YOU and will help you not only reach your goal, but maintain it for the rest of your life.
If you want that future self you envision to be living a joyful, healthy life, full of possibility, then you have to go deeper and be willing to learn about the latest science of nutrition and how it affects your specific body, as well as how sleep, stress, movement and mindset impact your health. This kind of understanding is POWER. Notice how I said understanding, not knowledge. Anyone can take a few online courses and read a few diet books and learn about all the areas I mentioned, but unless you have a guide who is showing you how this knowledge applies specifically to you, your body, and your lifestyle, none of that knowledge will help. This is one of the main reasons diets fail. When knowledge becomes understanding, a whole new world opens up. These exact words have come out of our own clients’ mouths! And in order for you to actually experience how powerful this is we’d have to go through the process with you too – because this isn’t something you can DIY, or else you would have already.
Even we don’t stop seeking understanding, because there was a day that this learning was ignited in us as well, and we have never looked back! The lifestyle we teach, and that I follow, has enabled me to maintain a healthy weight, manage my Rheumatoid Arthritis without any medical intervention, and even manage my daughter’s highly specialized and medically monitored diet for epilepsy. I am living proof, as are the many clients we have helped over the years!
3. CREATE CHANGE FROM A PLACE OF DEEP READINESS:
As we know, we first must CREATE a new lifestyle with new habits. But there is more to create:
CREATE space - space for you to do this work in a spirit of self-compassion and self-love. Our mindset work will help in this area.
CREATE boundaries - no one gets to derail you! Say no when you need to say no and say yes when it supports you and your goals.
CREATE the life you actually want to live - we will start with helping you create a detailed vision so that you are clear on where you are going.
CREATE goals for yourself - and learn how to consistently meet those goals.
CREATE a plan each day, week, month - so you feel in control of the process. Living intentionally is an easy skill to develop with practice.
CREATE strategies - you can use to overcome obstacles and blocks - especially the block inside your own mind…that darn inner critic!
Regardless of what has come before, we will help you focus on the now and the future that you are creating. And yes, we know that the thought of being disappointed again and feeling like you failed is hard to wrap your head around. It is good that you are feeling all these scary things - that means that getting healthy is REALLY important to you. So let me ask you this - what scares you most about not doing anything? What insecurities will be magnified if you stay exactly where you are on your path? What will inaction cost you?
All of these questions and emotions are why our program includes mindset work and learning how to use different forms of mindfulness to deal with those underlying negative thoughts that work against us. And I have to touch on the question of readiness here. What is being ready exactly? What does that even mean? I have a secret to tell you – There is no “perfect time.” The only thing that is needed to be ready is you deciding you have had enough of cheating yourself out of the life you want and deserve. Give yourself permission to get the right support. To reach your hand out and say, “I don’t know exactly how it’s going to happen, but I’m ready to ask for the help I need to create the change I know in my bones is mine to have.” Being ready is that, plain and simple. You CAN do this and we will be there every step of the way!
So let’s recap:
PRIORITIZE, EXPAND, CREATE
First, PRIORITIZE: Yourself and your health.
Next, EXPAND: Be ready to learn, and truly understand how to apply that knowledge!
Finally, CREATE: Only after putting yourself and your health needs first, and then also opening your mind to learning, can you then be ready to create the life you have always dreamed of. Imagine having healthy boundaries, a powerful self-care routine, and the energy to take on everything you desire. I am sure you would agree that this sounds so much better than what you are doing right now. When you have these elements in place, you have the perfect recipe for transformation!
How Does Our Program Work?
So, let’s take a few minutes to walk you through an overview of what we do at Lifestyle Evolution. Right from the start you will notice that our support is unmatched in the world of weight loss and health. You’ll have a one-on-one session with our Integrative Functional Nutritionist after we receive your health intake details. He will then customize your nutrition template and will schedule a follow-up call to make sure you are crystal clear on how it works.
Then you will also have a one-on-one coaching session with me or one of my health coaches, where we are going to dig deep into the vision you want to create for your future self. This is vital to the overall process you are diving into. This vision will drive your goals and motivation along the way.
Then, over the course of 6 months you will have access to educational modules, and maybe even a little homework! Nutrition, mindset, and 1 other key lifestyle area (sleep, stress management, and movement) will be a part of each module. Here is an overview:
Month 1: Is focused on solving the problems of misinformation about nutrition, as well as the issue of negative mindset. For nutrition, we dig deeply into understanding how a whole foods way of eating will change how your body processes fat and loses weight. But this isn’t your normal approach to a whole foods diet. We show you how to tailor it specifically to you and your needs. This part is CRUCIAL and is the missing link for most people who have tried a whole foods diet and failed to lose weight and keep it off. For mindset, we will start helping you get to the root of how your thinking and your inner voice affect all parts of your weight loss journey, and how once you make working with your mindset a front and center priority, everything else falls into place.
Months 2-3: are where we continue addressing the other areas of lifestyle that are often neglected when only focusing on nutrition. The fact is that movement, stress management, gut health and sleep practices affect your weight loss. In this month, we will deepen your understanding in these key areas and help tailor them to your specific body. Without this key piece of the puzzle it’s virtually impossible to ensure long-term success. You will learn how to create doable, sustainable habits that really stick for the long run. And of course, our clinical nutritionist will still be communicating with you consistently and tweaking your nutrition template as needed.
Months 4-5: are exciting, because by this point you will have already seen so many changes in your body, your thinking, and how you are interacting with the world day-to-day. We will revisit your vision for your future self that you created at the beginning, as you will certainly see even more possibilities now than you did at first. Why? Because you are already seeing the results and success you were hoping to see at the beginning! Nutrition starts to feel easier and the mindset work you have been doing is really taking hold.
Month 6: No matter how much work you have done and how ready you feel, insecurities will creep up about whether you can maintain this on your own. This is 100% normal. Don’t worry, we have your back. We will help you assess the toolbox you have been building, making sure you have all you need in-hand to continue on your own, basically making your path forward bulletproof. You will learn more ways to modify your nutrition to keep the weight coming off (how to counter those inevitable plateaus). We also make sure you feel you have the support you need around you to maintain the amazing momentum you have created for yourself. And of course, we will always be part of that support when needed!
You are going to learn a great deal about yourself and how to create a lifestyle that is fully focused on your wellness, not just weight loss.
In addition to the modules you will be working through each week, you will also be consistently engaging in:
Daily online food journaling - don’t worry, this is as simple as snapping pictures and uploading them through an app to our client portal. This is how our nutritionist can stay dialed into each person’s day-to-day nutrition. It’s the easiest food journal on the planet.
Ongoing communication with our nutritionist via the chat feature in the app - basically a continuous text stream for accountability and questions. And you can schedule a call with our nutrition team when needed.
Weekly live Group Coaching Sessions on Zoom, where small weekly goals are created by each individual, specific to their own journey. You will find that this is also a safe space where our clients can support each other - an impactful part of the process for sure!
Pop-up Live Nutrition Q&A calls on Zoom and in our Facebook Group. This will be an opportunity for some additional education and Q & A with our nutritionist.
An opportunity each month for a one-on-one health coaching session with your assigned coach.
The beauty is that you have access to the course content and modules forever, so you can always revisit the information and mindset exercises.
Again, I want to reiterate that this is not a DIY program. Just having information is not enough! If it was, then everyone would be able to lose weight with no problem at all.
